Marketing Solutions for Life-sciences organization
Overview
The client has poineered a technology in Constructive Biology to synthesizing genes based on custom requirements of the life science industry. This technology could cut cost and shorten the research time needed by labs in pharmaceutical, bio engineering, food processing and universities. The client was ahead of their competition in manufacturing process for large base pair size genes.

Objective
Despite advantages in savings in cost and speeding up of research, the technology was new and needed early adopters. The company had relied on limited relationship based selling in universities sponsored labs and found that they were hampered by budget constraints. This was not providing complete information on real demand for their product. They were not much online visiblity and did not very well known in the wider target group. All their major competition had built strong presence in Search Engine Marketing.

Solution
Regalix designed a Search Engine Marketing to kick start the marketing program with an objective of increasing online brand awareness, to make an assesment of demand, and locate potential users. The program was designed to target Pharmacutical companies, Bio Engineering, and Universities with relevant messaging and content for each of the demand vertical. The program focused on creating client’s awareness to professionals from Lab Directors upwards.

Results
Starting from the scratch, Regalix generated 3-4 million targeted ad impressions through search results, driving over 10,000 users to the client’s website every month. The campaigns also captured 40-45 leads, mostly from interested buyers every month. With skillful campaign management and optimization, our team placed client’s ad at the top of search results, displacing competition, while paying much below the recommended placement bids. The campaign response gave client a really good idea of the demand segments and their customer expectations.
